Final week - Golden Key

Lapassion Manaus has finally come to an end. The last week of work was incredible. My group prepared a concise pitch for presenting at the Demo Day. I found it to be very explicative about what we did along these 10 weeks.

The Demo Day was amazing. I could see the final work of every group, brilliant ideas were developed, all of them with high potential of deeper development in the future.

We could hear kind words from people involved in the project that warmed up my heart.

This project was unique and different from any other project I had done in my life, probably different from any other one I will ever be in my life, due to many aspects. In particular because of the pandemic. We were all presentially together for 3 weeks and 7 weeks online, in 3 weeks we developed our personal relations, bondings, well, created our emotional connections, which after had to undergo the social distancing.

That's something difficult to deal with, at the same it feels very weird, specially in that kind of project.

However, I learned a lot with all that. The combinations of factors like being in a project of technologies development held in a federal institute, in Manaus, at the heart of the Amazon, being surrounded by great people, at the mean time when an pandemic breaks out and we have do adapt ourselves to the circumstances.

I can just say I'm very greateful for everything I've experienced in these last 10 weeks in the LAPASSION project, memories that will stay in my mind for quite a long time. I'm looking forward to be in a project like that again in the future and I hope that other people also have the opportunity to participate in such project and enjoy the experience.
