Chapter 9: Winds of change

Hi everyone, this week the Company Caloi helped us (I heard an amen) with the properties of plastic that are used in the children's bikes, as we expected from our solo research, only one plastic we didn't know is used for this type of utility, apart from this material, the rest we had a notion of the research we conducted in this period of almost two months. The list of types of plastic that the company gave us was three and we were able to find replacement bioplastics for each of these plastics without having to change the composition that the bioplastic company supplies. These bioplastics behave in the same way as plastics derived from fossi, as they have equal properties it will not be necessary to change the structure of the bicycle already sold at Caloi and neither its parts, just replace the raw material. On Tuesday I met a professor responsible for doing modeling and simulations at Ifam, we met at CTHM (Professor Harlan Julu Technology Center) he taught how to use the autodesk inventor software, how to manipulate objects, change their composition, make simulation of forces and pressures, graphical analysis of the material and its resistance. It was a very productive private lesson, we were able to advance great parts of the modeling process, he gave very valuable tips for using this software that is only learned through practice, our couch that indicated this teacher, thanks to him we have progressed in our prototype.
